Owner Financing Primer
Financing a land sale involves less risk than home financing. The obvious factor being the fact the buyer probably can't destroy the value of land as easily as they can a house. However, there are still lots of ways to get burned.
Actually, the more I think about my comment above the less I like it. I think I should say that owner financing land has a different set of ways money can be lost. Damage is less likely, but changes in value, desirability, government actions, and other factors can quickly change the land situation.
